eBay for Charity
When selling items on eBay you can donate part of your earnings to SPANA.
Often supporters offer to donate us their goods to sell but we cannot do so due to difficulties with administration and storage, so selling your items via eBay is the perfect alternative.
Visit www.ebay.co.uk/ebayforcharity for more information.

Buy exclusive Ivor the Engine stamps
Everyone’s favourite little green train from the “top left hand corner of Wales” turns 50 this year!
To celebrate his birthday SPANA has teamed up with leading stamp collectors specialists Buckingham Covers to produce a charming and highly-collectable limited edition sheet of Royal Mail stamps.
This is not the first time working animals cross paths with Ivor. Bluebell the donkey was a valuable character in the series. Like all donkeys Bluebell was gentle and hard-working.
The stamps come together with wonderful artwork of the series from creator Peter Firmin.
Only 1959 sheets will be in existence worldwide and at least £2.00 from every sale go directly to SPANA.
Peter, a loyal supporter of SPANA, is personally signing a limited number of the sheets to help raise even more funds.
They are an absolute must-have for anyone who loves Ivor and will make a great addition to any collection of TV memorabilia.
For more information and to order please visit Buckingham Covers’ site.
Donate Your Scrap Car to SPANA
We have recently teamed up with Giveacar, the car donation website. If you are thinking about scrapping your car, why not donate it to SPANA? Giveacar arranges the free collection of all cars, anywhere in the UK. Cars are either recycled, and a donation made based on the value of scrap metal, or put into an auction, and a donation made based on the proceeds of the auction. To donate a car to SPANA, please click here and it will take you to our page on the Giveacar website.
Donate your stamps
One of SPANA’s valued supporters has agreed to take on the time-consuming task of processing and selling used stamps to raise some much-needed funds for SPANA. If you’d like to contribute, please cut your stamps from the envelope and leave ¼ inch around the stamp to make them easier to process. Please do not tear around the stamps as this damages them and makes them worthless to sell on.
Please send all stamps to:
Alan Gray
7 Rookery Close
St Ives
Cambridgeshire
PE27 5FX
If you would like to know they have arrived safely, please include a stamped addressed envelope. Please check the packet size and weight before you send any packages as any that arrive underpaid will have to be paid for by SPANA funds.
Donate your postcards
Do you have any used postcards lying around at home? By sending them on you can help raise funds for working animals.
Please send postcards to:
Miss J Webb
18 Hammonds Way
Totton
Southampton
Hampshire
SO40 3H
Miss Webb will kindly sell them on to collectors and send the proceeds to SPANA.
