Best Vegetarian Sweets for Christmas
Vegetarian and veganism are on the rise and you can now find a range of chocolates, biscuits and sweets suitable for both available online and in supermarkets and shops. Whether you or your guests are vegetarian , be the ultimate host this holiday season with sweet treats that everyone can eat. Vegetarian biscuits
Most biscuits are vegetarian. However, the occasional uninvited guest may make an appearance if you aren’t careful. Some of your favourite biscuits may have one or two meaty ingredients that you weren’t expecting. It’s important to check that no animal derivatives have been used – this is always outlined on the label.

Vegetarian chocolate
Aside from chocolate containing obvious animal products, like milk, sometimes chocolate can contain other animal products that we might not be aware of. Pure dark chocolate typically contains the least ingredients (cocoa, butter and sugar) and so in most cases is vegan. It’s still important to check as some versions are not 100% dark.
Some chocolate products contain animal by-products such as stearic acid (animal fat). The following, however, are happily vegetarian and suitable for those who don’t eat animal
products.
