Knitting and crocheting for working animals

Knitted animals

Using one of our patterns you can knit your very own Duncan the donkey, Hattie the horse, Oscar the ox or our newest design, Emma the elephant! You can also crochet Clarence the camel, all to help SPANA treat hardworking animals in need.

We kindly suggest a donation of $10 which will help SPANA cover costs and will contribute to our invaluable work helping working animals around the world. Alternatively, if you have any animal-loving friends, perhaps they would like to make a donation in return for keeping one of your creations!

Our Big Knit for Vet Kit pack contains all five of the animal patterns for knitting and crocheting.

Knitting for SPANA means you can enjoy being creative while raising much-needed funds to help sick and injured working animals in developing countries throughout the world. Whether you’re an experienced knitter or a complete novice, I’d encourage everyone to pick up their needles and have a go at making one of these adorable animals.
