Corporate philanthropy partners

Below are some of the third parties we work with who help us to improve the welfare of working animals worldwide, through their corporate philanthropy.

Animal Friends Pet Insurance

Founded in 1998, Animal Friends is an ethical pet insurance company that was established with the sole aim of providing insurance as a means to help support animal welfare charities. The company’s ethos, aims and values have enabled them to become one of the largest pet insurance providers in the UK (Datamonitor 2013).

What’s more, they have currently donated over £2 million to animal welfare charities all over the world, and this includes us! SPANA have been blessed to have a considerable amount of funds donated by Animal Friends – it’s now over £100,000 – a staggering amount to help working animals. In May 2014, they donated £40,000 which entirely funded our lameness campaign. We have also been privileged enough to receive funds from Animal Friends via their Employee of the Month scheme, Facebook charity competition and goodwill donations.

Donate your scrap car to SPANA

We have recently teamed up with Giveacar, the car donation website. If you are thinking about scrapping your car, why not donate it to SPANA? Giveacar arranges the free collection of all cars, anywhere in the UK. Cars are either recycled, and a donation made based on the value of scrap metal, or put into an auction, and a donation made based on the proceeds of the auction. Donate a car to SPANA.
