Beebomb Wildflower Seeds
Handmade in Dorset, Beebombs are a mix of 18 British wildflower seeds, fine soil and locally-sourced clay and are perfect for flowers that attract bees and butterflies. The seeds are specially selected native species that are ‘perfect for pollinators’, helping to attract bees and restore biodiversity in the UK.
Since World War 2, 97% of native British Wildflower habitat has been lost. Wildflower habitats are important to our natural environment as this is where bees and butterflies make their lives. With Beebombs, you can re-create these lost habitats and help bring ‘back the bees’.
Beebombs are a mix of 50% annuals and 50% perennial species, providing a natural and diverse habitat for bees and insects. The seedballs protect the seeds from predators and provide a nurturing environment for the seeds to germinate from. This makes it easier for you to create the wildflower habitat that Britain needs.
These Beebombs are sustainably made in England on a farm in Parley, Dorset. They use no plastic in the packaging or in the manufacturing process. Contained in an attractive hessian bag, they would make a lovely Christmas gift for a green-fingered friend, or for someone with a garden that cares for the environment.
Beebombs are very easy to use – simply scatter them onto cleared ground or into a planter at any time of year and watch your wildflowers grow!
