At our Marrakech centre in Morocco, Sanaa the donkey was diagnosed with contracted tendons, a painful condition which was causing the donkey to walk on her toes and had made her hooves grow unevenly. After pain relief was administered, our skilled farrier trimmed Sanaa\u2019s overgrown hooves with special tools to ensure they were balanced and even. Her owner was then advised to return for routine hoof checks and trimming.<\/p>\n
