Veterinary Programme Advisor
There is currently one position vacant: Veterinary Programme Advisor (Partnerships). This position will be London based but involve extensive overseas travel (3-4 months per year). We are looking for an individual who can assist with all aspects of the Veterinary Department’s role in co-ordinating our overseas programmes.
The successful candidate will have a veterinary degree (recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) and clinical experience with equids. Energetic, diplomatic and with excellent communication skills, the candidate will enjoy working in challenging circumstances. A working knowledge of French would be useful as would experience of working in low-income countries.

Communications Intern (unpaid voluntary post)
Term - 2.5 - 3 days per week for a minimum of two months
Location - SPANA head office, 14 John Street, London WC1N 2EB
Overall purpose of the role - In 2013 SPANA, the charity for the working animals of the world, will celebrate its 90th anniversary. It will be a busy year for the communications team as we strive to become better known through a series of awareness raising campaigns. The communications intern will assist the team with a variety of PR and digital media campaigns, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a small but dynamic and highly creative environment.
