Molla the donkey is essential to Junedi’s livelihood, helping him transport water and grain around his small village community in southern Ethiopia. Without his loyal donkey, Junedi’s family would struggle to survive.

Molla’s tough work on rough terrain had taken a toll on his sensitive skin, resulting in
painful wounds on his chest, back and tail. Concerned for his beloved companion, Junedi sought treatment at the mobile clinic in Shashamane. The team gently cleaned Molla’s wounds with antiseptic spray and applied a soothing ointment. They also provided new, comfortable harnessing and soft padding to prevent further irritation. With proper care and rest, Molla will recover from his injuries and continue to support Junedi’s family.
