This gift can help to run a workshop at one of SPANA’s animal handling facilities, providing necessary educational materials and animal care.

This sweet young foal, affectionately named Bouchra, meaning ‘good news’, was brought to our Marrakech centre in Morocco soon after he was born. His mother had complications giving birth and sadly passed away, leaving the foal orphaned. The SPANA team provides Bouchra with constant care and attention, ensuring that he gets plenty of milk, playtime and rest. Young students visit our centre to take part in humane education workshops, where they learn about animal welfare and the value of kindness. Bouchra joins in their tours of the centre and is the highlight of their visit! With your support, we can help create a more compassionate world for working animals.
