SPANA Australia’s Trustees (also known as Directors) are responsible for ensuring our charity is pursuing its long-term goals, effectively managing its finances and successfully fulfilling its charitable obligations, while operating in line with all legal requirements and the wishes of our supporters.

Kerin Welford – Chair of Trustees

An internationally accredited Certified Fundraising Executive and Fellow of the Fundraising Institute of Australia (FIA), Kerin Welford is the Director of Bluestone Fundraising. With more than 24 years’ experience, Kerin has worked within nine international, national and regional charitable organisations, spanning the not-for-profit sector across Australia and New Zealand. A multi-award-winning fundraising leader, change manager, international conference speaker and mentor, Kerin also serves as a Board member of Borneo Orangutan Survival Australia and the President of Sydney Street Cats.

David Mole

David Mole is an experienced fundraising professional who has specialised in high-value  fundraising from foundations, corporates, governments and individuals. David is Director of Foundation Relations at the World Resources Institute, and previously served as Executive Director of Development for the Climate Group. David is a member of the Fundraising, Marketing & Communications Committee.

Lara Gallagher

For over 20 years Lara has been a senior marketing, communications and fundraising professional who now leads the Australia Business Unit for the world’s largest Conservation organisation in charge of marketing, fundraising, conservation programs, HR and finance. Lara is a Director on TNC Ltd. Australia and a Trustee for Spana Australia Board.
