SPANA teams successfully provided treatment to over 280,000 working animals during the last year. The animals we have helped include Zouhara, the beautiful mule pictured right, who lives and works in the remote village of Imlil in the mountains of Morocco.
Every day Zouhara makes the treacherous journey up the steep, narrow and rocky mountain passes, transporting essential food and water supplies for her owner’s family.
