About the challenge
Since the first City2Surf race was hosted in 1971, the event has inspired professional and amateur runners alike.
Thousands of fundraisers have taken to the streets of Sydney raising money for vitally important causes around the world. The City2Surf’s course starts at Sydney’s Hyde Park and runs through the city’s streets, up the infamous Heartbreak Hill, and comes to a finish at Bondi Beach.
