Pet Memorial Wall

This pet memorial wall is dedicated to the memory of the much-loved animals who gave so much joy to their owners during their lifetime and whose memory has been honoured with a donation to SPANA to provide hope for the future of working animals overseas.

Mindy came to us after the passing of my mother four years ago. She settled in with our two other cats in her own special way. We miss her, but we're happy that we could give her the space to feel at home and a lap to settle on.

Freda the donkey
Freda was rescued by Steph after being subjected to years of abuse and neglect. Despite all that had happened to Freda, she was a very trusting and gentle soul and became good friends with Pixi the pony. “It was a privilege to have been able to share our lives with Freda”, Steph said.
Zippy was a very special horse with the most amazingly joyful attitude to life. He lived to 38 and I was lucky enough to share 31 of those years with him. He will be missed forever. We love you Zippy ❤️❤️xxxxx

Gurgi, Stephen Wilde’s beloved dog who is now ‘helping other animals that aren’t leading a lovely life like he had with me!'
Jack was rescued by Lisa Trowse after severe abuse and neglect. With love and care he recovered and they had many happy years together.
Saffy, an adventurous rescue cat made herself very at home with Judith and Alan Prentice. ‘She kept us very amused with her antics. We still miss her and will always remember her by our favourite picture.’
Ginger, a lovely big cat rescued by Judith and Alan Prentice, Initially nervous he soon came out of his shell and was very trusting and placid, Ginger will be remember as a big, gentle well-mannered friend.
Millie was sadly put to sleep on Easter Saturday at the grand age of 17 years, 7 months. She is very missed by Joy Lambert.
Prince, a loving and lovable Welsh Cob who gave 15 years of fun and friendship to Amanda Rogers. He is very much missed.
Churston Sascha, the dearly loved Lilac Point Birman cat, passed away aged 13 on 16th January 2014 and is still missed by Margaret Hubbard. Sascha was a talkative little cat who enjoyed sunning himself in the catmint shrub in the garden – his favourite spot.

Toby, the faithful horse that belonged to Jaqueline Barber
Bella, the Golden Retriever, passed away aged 8 on 13th December 2013. Beloved pet of Mary and Alan Stuart.
Sammy (Sambob) the cat, beloved pet of Joshua and Adam.
Pusscat, the little cat who spent her last 8 years very loved by Jessie Hill.
Charlie the cat, who passed away aged 16 in May 2014. Darling pet of Mrs D. Evans.
Charleston, Amelie, Little Eric and Chia, passed away aged 5½, 5, 10½ and 7½. Beloved pets of Joy Lambert who took part in many Bunny Cuddling Day fundraisers and raised lots of money for SPANA during their lifetimes.
Sara the much loved little cat, who after being rescued, spent 13 happy years with Kathleen Cann.
Marshall, the horse who lived a very happy life with Stephanie Smolensky.
Marcello, Marjory Heatons favourite cat who died aged 16/17 years old.
Sasha, the very special horse who belonged to Barbara and Dennis Freeman.
Mr Snax, who passed to Rainbow Bridge on the 1st July 2016, greatly missed by his owner, Clare Hunter, surviving brother, Dippydoodah and his feline companion, Mungo.
Arnie the scruffy mongrel who passed away aged 20 in 2013. A twice abandoned stray who became the dearly loved pet of Dodge. This picture is of Arnie looking forward to the next adventure in the wilds of Scotland back in 2009.
