We are delighted to share with you your special annual edition of Stablemate, highlighting just some of the remarkable work we’ve accomplished together over the past year.

The past 12 months have been particularly challenging for working animals around the world. Severe droughts and flooding in many regions have displaced countless animals, leaving them without food and water. However, with your continued support, we’ve been able to act quickly to save and care for these animals in need. 

This year, we have also focused on transforming the lives of working dogs in Malawi. These loyal animals, often neglected and suffering from illness, are now receiving the care they deserve. With your help, we are giving them a healthier and more valued life. In Stablemate learn about how your donations are making  a difference.

Your generosity has been vital for working animals in remote and underserved areas. On page four, you’ll read the story of Beza, a horse who was saved from a life threatening wound thanks to your contributions. This is just one example of how your kindness is reaching animals in the hardest to reach places, providing them with the care they urgently need.

Or other urgent priority is the brick kilns of India, one of the harshest environments for working animals. There, your support is helping provide essential veterinary care, from medicines to safer harnessing. See page six for more information on how your generosity is restoring hope to the lives of animals in these difficult conditions.

Road traffic accidents are another pressing issue we are tackling, with many working animals being struck by vehicles while on or near busy roads. With your help, we are providing life saving treatments and working to prevent future accidents. Turn to page 10 to see how your support is making a real difference.

Because of your compassion, we’re not just offering immediate care, but also creating lasting change. Whether it’s pushing for stronger animal welfare standards or helping pet owners prepare for climate related disasters, your support is making a real difference.
