Knitting for charity: big knit for vets

Knitted animals

Using one of our patterns you can knit your very own Duncan the donkey, Hattie the horse, Oscar the ox or our newest design, Emma the elephant! You can also crochet Clarence the camel, all to help SPANA treat hardworking animals in need.

We kindly suggest a donation of £10 which will help SPANA cover costs and will contribute to our invaluable work helping working animals around the world.

The Big Knit for Vet Kit fundraising pack contains:

  • All five of the knitted animal patterns
  • A sponsorship form
  • A donation envelope
Make a donation and/or send in the funds you raised from your knitting

Actress and SPANA supporter, Pam Ferris, is delighted to be supporting the campaign, she said:

Pam Ferris
Knitting for SPANA means you can enjoy being creative while raising much-needed funds to help sick and injured working animals in developing countries throughout the world. Whether you’re an experienced knitter or a complete novice, I’d encourage everyone to pick up their needles and have a go at making one of these adorable animals.

Please email [email protected] with photos of your finished animals! Or if you send in your animals to SPANA’s London office, they could end up being used in one of our education programmes abroad.
