So many working animals never receive even basic care. They suffer needless pain, endure ill health and may die prematurely. We have fixed and mobile clinics in eight countries and run veterinary projects in many more. In fact, SPANA treats almost 400,000 working animals every year.

Free veterinary care is a lifeline for people too
Working animals play such a vital role in the lives of poor families. So when an animal can’t work, entire families struggle. That’s why SPANA’s free veterinary care is life-saving for people too.
The need for care is infinite
There are 100 million working animals in the developing world and over half will suffer malnutrition, exhaustion, disease or injury in the course of their working lives.
